It's finally that time of year - hockey season!
The New York Islanders battle it out on the ice against the Pittsburgh Penguins in Week 26 of the NHL regular season on Friday, April 10 at 7:00 p.m. EST at the CONSOL Energy Center in Pa. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Friday night hockey game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
Heading into the final weeks of the 2014-2015 regular season, the Penguins snag the No. 19 spot in Scott Burnside's official NHL power ranking for ESPN.com with a 42-26-12 record:
"What a mess, as the Pens dropped two more on the weekend and are scrambling to just make the playoffs, let alone make any kind of statement."
Pittsburgh remains 4th in the Metropolitan Division.
Meanwhile, rivals the Islanders currently hold the steady No. 14 spot (out of 30 total teams) with a 46-28-6 record. New York is 3rd in the Metropolitan Division. According to Burnside:
"The final regular-season days at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum are at hand. The Isles would like to stay ahead of the Caps and Pens for home ice but have just three wins in their past 11 games and aren't inspiring much faith in a long playoff run."
The game will be broadcasted live on local channels ROOT, TVA, MSG+, but fans can also listen in on the radio at 105.9 The X, WNIO, KWSN, and 740 The Fan.
