The Season 4 finale of Suits ended on USA Network with a major cliffhanger. Readers should mark their calendars because the Season 5 premiere of the lawyer drama starring Gabriel Macht (Harvey Specter) and Patrick J. Adams (Mike Ross) has picked its 2015 summer premiere date.
In our previous recap, Harvey went up against Terrence Wolf (Chi McBride) to save Donna (Sarah Rafferty) from being charged with felony fraud. Knowing where to put the money in the right hands, Harvey was able to make the case go away for Donna. After sharing a few drinks, Donna was left standing shocked and speechless as Harvey revealed he loved her and walked out of her apartment.
In fourth season finale recap, Donna wanted more from Harvey but he wasn't willing to take the chance and risk their relationship. While Mike proposed to Rachel (Meghan Markle), Donna announced she was leaving Harvey and teaming up with Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) as his secretary. Unable to convince her to stay with him, the last thing Donna said to Harvey was "I love you."
TV Line reports that the fifth season will premiere on Wednesday, June 24. Starting at 9pm, Suits will lead into the new hacker drama, Mr. Robot.
As we previously mentioned, Mr. Robot centers on a young programmer named Elliot (Rami Malek). Suffering from an anti-social disorder, Elliot can only connect to people by hacking them. Elliot is then recruited to join an underground hacker organization determined to bring down corporate America by a mysterious anarchist named Mr. Robot (Christian Slater).
With the breakup of Donna and Harvey, plus Mike and Rachel's upcoming wedding, then hacker espionage as an added bonus, there is so much exciting drama in this two-hour block.
