Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez Break Up: Crazy Schedules or Jealousy to Blame for Failed Relationship?

Reports confirm that popular Hollywood teen couple Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez has officially broken up. One inside source insists that it was hard for the young couple to maintain a healthy, long distance relationship given both of their busy schedules - therefore a split was pretty much inevitable. Still, other reports claim that jealousy was the main factor - the Biebs has had a case of the wandering eyes lately, especially while spending ample time with some gorgeous Victoria's Secret models.

After several months of media speculation, Bieber and Gomez stepped out as an official couple in February, 2011. Now, the teeny-boppers are going their separate ways. "Because of their crazy schedules, it was getting harder and harder to maintain a relationship," one source tells E! News. Makes sense, since 18-year-old Bieber is currently busying performing on a worldwide "Believe" tour, while 20-year-old Gomez is off promoting her highly-anticipated teen film, "Spring Breakers" (out 2013). Apparently, the duo split about a week ago.

But could jealousy have been a factor? According to a report on RadarOnline, "jealousy" and "petty arguments" has been ripping the couple apart for weeks. And it looks like the Biebs isn't having any trouble moving on - he was spotted flirting with a number of Victoria's Secret Angels beauties following the 2012 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on Wednesday (Nov. 7). The "As Long as You Love Me" star spent the night partying alongside many of the gorgeous models, getting pretty friendly with British socialite Cara Delevingne (read more on that here). And just Friday night, Bieber was spotted seeing The Lion King on Broadway with a group of buddies including 19-year-old Victoria's Secret model Barbara Palvin. So maybe Bieber's wandering eyes the past few weeks is what really tore Gomez down? (Not to mention all the abuse Gomez constantly gets from crazed Belieber fans - "It hurts, it really does," she once told NYC's Z100 radio. "I don't feel like I'm doing anything wrong. I've been best friends with him for a very long time. It does hurt my feelings a lot, but I try not to focus on it").

Fans predicted a Bieber-Gomez break up weeks ago, since the young duo has not been spotted spending very much quality time together lately. It looks like Gomez is currently spending more time with handsome co-star Gregg Sulkin on othe set of "Wizards of Waverly Place". 

Even so, both Bieber and Gomez are young, successful stars that have a lot going for them - surly there are still many more fun, romantic experiences to come!
