Justin Timberlake's a Dad! Singer, Jessica Biel Welcome Son Silas Randall: What Does His Name Mean?

Justin Timberlake is a dad! MStars News has learned that the singer and his wife Jessica Biel welcomed a baby boy over the weekend: Silas Randall.

According to People, Silas Randall Timberlake was named after Timberlake's maternal grandfather Bill Bomar. Silas was the middle name of Bomar, who died in 2012. The site revealed that the Timberlakes gave their son the middle name Randall because it is Justin's own middle name and his father's first name.

Reps revealed that the new mother and her son are doing well. As for dad, the rep revealed that Justin is "ecstatic."

MStars News previously learned that Timberlake and Biel were pregnant when the actress was spotted covering up her baby bump after InStyle Editor-in-Chief Ariel Foxman wrote via Instagram:

"Congrats @jessicabiel on your impending motherhood ... Looking forward to the red carpet maternity style pix to come #tbt."

Former 'N Sync member Joey Fatone also spilled the beans of Biel's baby bump when he said to reporters, "He told me a while ago, and I kept my mouth shut," at that time Fatone claimed he was free to release the wonderful news. "But now I can talk about it!"

"I think he's going to be a great dad," Fatone added. "He's always been great with kids in general. He's going to be great. I think he'll be very hands-on."

Justin and Jessice finally confirmed that they were pregnant on Timberlake's 34th birthday in January. In the snapshot below, the new father wrote: "Thank you EVERYONE for the Bday wishes! This year, I'm getting the GREATEST GIFT EVER. CAN'T WAIT."

It appears that their son's birth was also a surprise to the couple. Justin admitted that the new parents didn't know what the sex of their child was, in the picture below, when he hastaged it, "#BoyOrGirl #YouNeverKnow #WeDontEvenKnow #WeAreTakingBets"

Timberlake previously said at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in March that his wife was his "best friend and favorite collaborator."

Timberlake won the Innovator Award and also said, "I can't wait to see our greatest creation yet." He continued, "Daddy's heading home right now to innovate by learning how to change a poopy diaper and get my swaddle on!"
