Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez Breakup: Trust Issues Blamed for Split

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber called it quits, confirmed media reports.

"Because of their crazy schedules, it was getting harder and harder to maintain a relationship," E! News quoted a source with knowledge about their relationship as saying.

Meanwhile, another media report suggested that Selena and Bieber split owing to trust issues. "She broke up with him about a week ago. With them being apart so much it got complicated. She had some trust issues. It's not easy, but the relationship needed to end," People reported a source as saying.

According to reports, the young celebrity couple's relationship, which was already on rocks, worsened following, Bieber's alleged close association with Victoria's Secret model Barbara Palvin.

Rumors that the adorable twosome had split started gaining traction in the last couple of weeks, but hit a high note just last night when Bieber was spotted seeing "The Lion King" on Broadway with a group of people that included 19-year-old Palvin, opined E! News.

On the other hand, Friday Selena tweeted a photo of Bieber and Palvin with no remarks but only ellipses. And, Palvin tweeted, "hey everyone. please calm down. he is all yours!! :) please :)"

Selena and Bieber made their relationship public last year after months of dating much to the displeasure of fans of the "Never Let You Go" singer. They both dated each other for nearly two years.
