Nintendo Wii U Pre Order Popular Christmas Gift Choice, Midnight Release at Nintendo World

Since the Nintendo Wii U pre orders began, the family friendly video game has seen strong number of orders.  Some predict that there may be a shortage for the console this year as people prepare for the Christmas season.  The official release date is set for November 18th, with a special launch event that will be held at Nintendo World in New York City on November 17th at 6 p.m. eastern time leading to the 18th.  The first person in line will receive a Wii U from the Nintendo of America's President Reggie Fils-Aime.  

Nintendo will be offering two models of the video game.  The 8GB Basic Set starts at $299.99 which includes a white 8GB console, white GamePad, two adaptors, HDMI cable and sensor bar.  The 32GB Deluxe Set is not much more expensive at $349.99 offering a 32GB console, black GamePad, sensor bar, two AC adapters, GamePad cradle, an HDMI cable, GamePad stand and console stand.
