Ariel Winter's grandfather has sided with her mother in a guardianship case.
James Batistas, grandfather of Ariel, in a declaration in connection with the ongoing guardianship case, has reportedly claimed that he never witnessed the "Modern Family" actress suffering in her mother's hands.
His declaration seemingly strengthens the claims of Chrystal Workman, mother of Ariel.
Earlier, Chrystal reportedly claimed that abusing stories about her was not true. She also accused her daughter of levelling false allegations against her for not letting Ariel to involve in sexual act with her boyfriend.
Batistas' letter to court obtained by TMZ said that Chrystal is a very good mother to all the children.
"I have never seen any abuse from my daugther or son-in-law towards my granddaughters neither physical nor emotionally," he said. In the letter he also said that he wants to see his daughters and granddaughters back together.
Chrystal was stripped of Ariel's custody after a judge determined abusing her 14-year-old daughter charges against her. The teenage star was temporarily placed under her elder sister Shanelle Workman's responsibility.
