'Mad Men' Season 7: Ep 9: 'New Business' Recap: Will Jon Hamm's Don Draper Save Megan?

The final episodes of Season 7 from the critically acclaimed Mad Men has begun on AMC. In episode 9, are Don Draper (Jon Hamm), Roger Sterling (John Slattery), and Joan Holloway (Christina Hendricks) ready to make more money in their 'New Business?'

While Don is making  chocolate shakes for his kids, Betty (January Jones) tells him she is interested in going back to school for Psychology. Don isn't too happy being around with Henry. Megan (Jessica Paré) calls to tell him the movers are picking up her things. 

Roger has to deal with her two secretaries working for him now, Harry (Rich Sommer) tells Don he has to meet with Megan and help her find a new agent. During the night, Don gets a call from Diana, the waitress, and invites her over to his place. At three in the morning, Diana is drunk and just wants to have sex. 

After Don showers, he sees Diana looking over his kid's bedroom. Diana cries because she lied before; she left because her child died. He holds her in his arms. Peggy (Elizabeth Moss) and Stan (Jay R. Ferguson) show up at the set. Stan makes a joke at the female photographer and her models. 

Knowing he has to meet with Bert Peterson, Roger vents to Don about women and divorces.  While Stan is drawing, the female photographer shows up in his office. Stan ends up agreeing to show her his portfolio. Megan meets with her sister while Don has an awkward encounter with Sylvia in the elevator. 

In a creative crisis, Stan isn't sure what he wants to show in his portfolio. His girlfriend undresses because she wants him to take pictures of her. After his fling with Diana, Don gets a call that Megan is coming over and asks Diana to leave. 

Don heads out with Pete to the golf course. Megan ends up arguing her family over the divorce and how she spends Don's money. Megan takes one last look at the apartment before she leaves. 

Pete and Don talk about Megan and divorce in the car. Megan' mother took everything into the moving trucks. She then makes a call to Roger and asks for money. The female photographer takes a look at his snapshots and seduces him in the dark room. Roger is surprised to see Don's apartment entirely empty and pays the movers.

Roger continues his affair with Megan's mother in an empty room. During the meeting, Harry ends up flirting with Megan and hints at the "casting couch." Offended by Harry's sleaziness, Megan leaves and shows up at Don's empty apartment,. After yelling at Roger, Megan and her mother storm out of the room.

Harry tells a different version of what happened during his meet with Megan. The female photographer flirts with Peggy and touches her face. At their divorce meeting, Megan calls out Don as an aging, old liar, yelling at the wrong person. Don writes a 1 million check for Megan because he doesn't want to fight anymore. He apologizes after she gives back her wedding ring.

Peggy and Stan argue over what happened with the same woman. Megan doesn't care her mother is leaving her father. 

At Diana's place, Don bought a guide book for her but she's in a bad mood. Diana has two girls, one died and the other is with her father. She doesn't want to feel anything else. Don sets the book down leaves and finds his apartment empty.
