Audiences have been anxiously binge-watching the highly anticipated Netflix premiere of Marvel's Daredevil. In the Episodes 6-10 recaps, viewers continued with the origin story of Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) and Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio) in the live-action version of the popular comic book.
As we previously mentioned, Matt Murdock (Cox) was a young boy when he was struck blind after a near fatal car accident. Though everyone thinks he lives in complete darkness, radioactive chemicals gave him back his sight. By day, Murdock pretends to be the blind lawyer attending courtroom battles. But when darkness falls, Daredevil serves out his own brand of justice as he protects Hell's Kitchen from The Kingpin (D'Onofrio).

Our 5 thoughts on Marvel's Daredevil Episodes 6-10:
10) Nelson v. Murdock
Recap: Foggy (Elden Henson) and Matt remember their early days in law school, the beginning of their friendship. Unfortunately, in the present, their friendship is at odds, forcing Foggy to make a decision about their firm. Ben Urich (Vondie Curtis-Hall) and Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) make a shocking discovery about Wilson Fisk through his mother, who was presumably dead.
Review: I loved the Lost-style flashbacks between Foggy and Matt. Did you catch the reference to Elektra, the "Greek girl" in their witty dialogue. Woll is just excellent as she takes the lead in her own subplot. The rival mob bosses go after Fisk's love, Vanessa (Ayelet Zurer), the one person you shouldn't mess with.
9) Speak of the Devil
Recap: Fisk sets in motion for Daredevil to fall into his trap. After Fisk orders the hit of an elderly Tennant, Matt realizes he may have to kill his enemy to stop him. Bleeding from his injuries, Murdock stumbles upon Foggy as he lies in desperate need of medical attention.
Review: This is the first battle between Fisk and Murdock; and it's very bloody! The fight scene between Daredevil and the ninja looked comic-booky but grounded in reality. It reminded me of Todd McFarlane's early drawings of Spider-Man and Tim Drake, Batman's Robin. These superheroes can take a beating and never have to worry about internal bleeding.
8) Shadows in the Glass
Recap: With his mob empire crumbling, Wilson is at his most vulnerable. Fisk recounts the events to Vanessa that led to him killing his father a young boy. After being introduced to Matt and Foggy, Ben tries to gather evidence against Fisk, but all plans fail, when the crime lord comes out in the open.
Review: Did somebody say The Wire? Domenick Lombardozzi, "Herc" shows up as Fisk's abusive father. Though it's pure white, I loved the scene where Vanessa picks out Wilson's clothes, making him look like The Kingpin.
7) Stick
Recap: Stick (Scott Genn), Matt's former mentor, returns to his protege's life and makes things worse. In order to prevent death, Stick has to stop the ultimate weapon, which happens to be a little boy. Matt won't disobey his own code and let Stick kill anyone.
Review: Where did Marvel/Netflix find the kid who plays young Matt? I wonder if that was actually him doing the spin kicks and flips. In the comics, Stick also trained Blade and Elektra, which makes me wonder if these characters will be brought in if there are more seasons.
6) Condemned
Recap: With Hell's Kitchen on fire, the manhunt continues for Vladimir (Nikolai Nikolaeff) and Daredevil. In need of information about Fisk, Daredevil has to keep Vladimir alive even after falling three stories straight down. Fisk though turns the tables on Daredevil as he fools the media into thinking the vigilante is a cop-killer.
Review: Daredevil vs. S.W.A.T.! And they're fighting in the sewers! Though we don't see Vladimir go out in a blaze of glory, how cool was it seeing Daredevil walk straight towards the camera at the end!
Marvel's Daredevil is now available on Netflix.
