Justine Bebier and Taylor Swift swept awards at MTV Europe Music Awards in Frankfurt, Germany Sunday. The two reigning pop sensations took home at least three titles each.
Taylor Swift was nominated in as many as five categories. Of which she bagged three awards, including Best Female, Best Live and Best Look. She also performed at the music awards function much to the delight of the audience.
MTV termed Taylor's performance as "best moments of the night." Her circus-inspired performance of "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," which closed and epitomized the night, featured everything a proper circus should: a captivating ringmaster, clowns, animals, fire and a little magic, the network said.
"Such an insane night!!! You guys won me 3 EMAs! Best female, best live act, best look. Can't even begin to thank you enough. I love you!!" an overwhelmed Taylor tweeted to her over 20 million followers on the micro-blogging website.
Meanwhile, Bebier managed to strike it rich in terms of awards, in spite of the fact the he was nominated alongside of big sharks of the music industry. The 18-years-old pop sensation was nominated in four categories and bagged three titles, including Best Male, Best Pop and Best World Stage.
Bebier didn't show up at the music event for some reason. But he gave his video acceptance of awards from MTV EMA.
