London's favorite sex god, Bridget Jones, from the flick Bridget Jones' Diary looks like she is ready for her Bollywood close up. That's right, everyone's favorite British sexpot will be making her way to the Middle East. Unfortunately, Renee Zellweger isn't attached to this project, but it appears that Pakistani journalist Saba Imtiaz's bestselling novel, Karachi, You're Killing Me!, which has been hailed as the Bollywood equivalent to the London novel, has just been acquired by Adundantia Entertainment.
According to Fusion.net, the project has some comparisons to the British version, but to make the story fit into the world of Bollywood, it will be transported from Pakistan to India and will switch the title to Delhi, You're Killing Me.

According to The Guardian, the novel is all about the ideals of a forward-thinking writer whose passion and ideology clashes with that of the society she is living in. In the book, the main character is not only a drinker and a smoker, but she also partakes in other activities that put her at odds with Karchi, where she is residing.
It is also being reported that Imtiaz, who used some of her own personal experiences for the novel, will take the lead on the screenplay. The book was published in 2014 by Random House and tells the story of Ayesh, who is balancing her dangerous work life with the search for a husband as she also struggles with how to keep her hair straight during the blackouts in her hometown.
We wonder who will get cast in the lead roles. Does anyone think that Sunny Leone would make a good fit for Ayesh? Let us know in the comments below.
