Jerramy Stevens the fiance of two-time gold medal soccer star, Hope Solo has been released from custody after allegedly assaulting his future wife to be.
Police arrived at Solo's house after receiving a disturbance call from Solo's brother, Marcus Solo Monday. According to police, the soccer star's brother, had a fresh black eye and bloody knees while Hope appeared injured as well with a half dollar size scrape on her elbow.
Solo's fiance, Stevens has a long history with the law with previous run-ins. When police searched upstairs Solo's home, Stevens "appeared to be hiding" between the bed and the wall. Stevens told police that he was asleep when they found him in that awkward position.
Hope and her brother claimed that "two or three" men showed up uninvited to a party and scuffled with the men, but police say their description of the men were vague. While talking to the police, Solo was heard telling her brother to shut up more than once.
The Football player had been held for 72 hours for questioning, and during the hearing a judge granted Steven's release upon his attorney Todd Maybrown. According to Maybrown, "because there is no evidence he committed any crime at all, or that (Solo) had been assaulted," Maybrown said.
Despite the legal fiasco, the couple were set to get married Tuesday and still plan on going on with their big day despite the allegations.
