The head shaving campaign in support of Indianapolis Colts coach, Chuck Pagano, who is battling leukemia, continues. Megan M, a cheerleader of the team, has agreed to shed her hair if the fans raise $10,000 by Nov. 25 for cancer research.
Blue, took to twitter with a challenge up in sleeves. The lucky mascot of Colts, asked if he manage to collect $10,000 for leukemia research, would any cheerleader of team allow him to shave their head.
The complete proceedings of the challenge will go into the leukemia research at the IU Health Simon Cancer Center.
"ATTENTION @nflcoltscheer: If I raise $10,000 4 leukemia research, will a cheerleader let me shave her head at our next game? #CHUCKSTRONG," Blue tweeted.
Megan M accepted Blue's challenge. She tweeted, "Count me in! I'll do it I'm."
For which Blue asked, "R U serious??? You'll let me shave ur head? #OperationShaveMegansHead RT @ColtsCheerMegan: count me in! I'll do it I'm #ColtStrong." And, Megan said that she was ready to sign on papers and make it official.
"@BlueColtsMascot I'm totally in! Let's put it on paper and make it official! #let'sdefeatcancer," she tweeted.
Blue has termed this fund raising campaign as "Operation: Shave Megan's Head," which is now seemingly trending on micro-blogging site. The team has also posted a video on Colts website featuring Blue, Megan and a lawyer signing an agreement.
donors can contribute money at this website for Chuckstrong campaign. If the challenged amount is raise by Nov 25, Megan's head would be shaved by Blue during a Colts-Bills game.
