Kim Richards of 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Arrested After Drunk Attack on Police Officer [DETAILS]

Kim Richards has found herself in trouble with the law. MStars News has learned that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was arrested after an encounter with the police.

According to US Magazine, Richards was arrested Thursday morning after she had a drunken confrontation with a police officer.

Richards, a recovering alcoholic, was arrested around 1:30 a.m. at the Beverly Hills Hotel after she reportedly got wasted. The Beverly Hills Police Department spokesman, Lt. Lincoln Hoshino revealed that the reality star "had too much to drink and was disturbing some of the other patrons in the hotel's restaurant."

According to TMZ, Richards was spotted at the Polo Lounge inside the hotel and she was asked to leave due to her drunkenness.

When Richards was asked to leave the property, she refused. After security asked her to leave again, Richards ended up going into the hotel's bathroom where she refused to come out. TMZ claims the cops had to drag the actress out!

"Hotel security requested to make a Private Persons Arrest and BHPD officers entered the restroom and took her into custody," Hoshino stated. "She was passively resisting and she was taken into custody on Private Person Arrest."

The 50-year-old reportedly kicked an officer while she was being booked at the Beverly Hills Police station.

The reality star was later released and is scheduled to appear in court on May 10th. Richards was charged with "public intoxication, trespassing, resisting arrest, and battery on a police officer."

Richardss stuggle with substance abuse was scene on the Bravo tv show, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Just this season, Richards was questioned by Lisa Rinna about her sobriety after she claimed Kim was high on something during a car ride in one episode. Kim claimed that she had taken a pain pill, but declares it was nothing more.
