MStars News has learned that Blood, Sweat and Heels star Geneva Thomas pled guilty in court to one count of third degree assault on her co-star, Melyssa Ford. We previously reported that Thomas, was arrested after she cracked a bottle on Melyssa's head on a boat last fall. Ford suffered injuries and was taken to Lenox Hill hospital as Thomas was booked with a felony assault. Now, Thomas has admitted to her actions as Judge Melissa Jackson sentenced the reality star to 10 days of community service.
According to Madame Noire, "Thomas, who initially faced charges of criminal possession of a weapon and felony assault in the second degree, won't serve any jail time and won't be placed on probation as long as she stays away from Ford, as she promised she would."
A source who knows Ford revealed to Bossip that the former video vixen, "still suffers from vertigo as a result of the assault and feels like the punishment is too lenient. She doesn't understand why this person isn't going to jail. She could've been killed."
MStars News also learned that Thomas previously revealed that she was planning on suing Ford for $25 million, claiming defamation. That probably won't happen after Thomas pleaded guilty. In the last episode, Thomas sat the women down and gave them some "fact sheets" about her arrest after they had started to spread rumors on a previous situation involving her and an $18 unpaid cab fee that led to another arrest!
As the ladies, including Melyssa, sit with Geneva, she explains what's going on with that arrest.
"I'm not going to speak on it a lot because it is my lawyer's advice for me not to talk too much about it," she says, while pulling out papers, "I actually brought fact sheets for everybody because there is a lot of false reports in the media and TMZ initially reported that it was $18..."
Thomas claims that ordeal will be thrown out! We shall see. According to TMZ, Thomas has to stay out of trouble until July for that case to be dismissed! Hopefully she will.
