Songstress Shania Twain sure knows how to make one grand entrance, Vegas style! Twain arrived for the premiere of her two-year headlining gig at Las Vegas' infamous Caesars Palace riding horseback, with a line of 40 horses in tow which organizers could only refer to as a stampede! The enormous stallion entrance was so extravagant and drew such a large crowd, that the legendary Las Vegas Strip was temporarily shut down as Twain made her way to the hotel/casino venue. What an appropriate way to kick off a Las Vegas residency.

Twain, considered one of the best-selling female country artists of all time with such hits including "Man! I Feel like a Woman!," "That Don't Impress Me Much," and "You're Still the One" among many others, will kick off her show "Shania: Still the One" on December 1. The tour will take place at the 4,300-seat Colosseum at Caesars Palace. 47-year-old Twain brings a little country to Vegas jus as a fellow artist from the same genre, Garth Brooks, plans on leaving. Brooks recently announced that his three-year concert stint at the Wynn hotel and casino would be coming to an end this upcoming weekend (although he originally signed an agreement to stay five years). Now it's Twain's turn to take over Vegas and add a little dose of her country style!
Following the grand horseback riding entrance, Twain made her way to a temporary stage (at the same location where Evel Knievel's infamous New Year's Eve motorcycle stint crash occurred in 1967) to kick off her two-year Vegas residency.
