First Birdman, and now Young Thug - rapper Lil Wayne's list of industry enemies continues growing... fast!
And in a recent interview with The Whoolywood Shuffle, Grand Hustle emcee T.I. insists that he won't take sides in the Cash Money drama, although he has a rather close relationship with the YMCMB superstar. The "Whatever You Like" crooner did have a little chat with Thug, but refuses to get involved any further:
"I asked Thugga myself... I said, 'Hey brother, what you doing? What's going on?' He basically responded. He said, 'Everybody's making it a whole lot more... I'm doing it to pay homage. That's my favorite rapper.'"
Another hip-hopper who won't acknowledge the controversial feud? Juvenile.
In an exclusive interview with Global Grind, the former Hot Boys rapper explains that he's on a better note with Weezy and Manny Fresh nowadays. Can fans expect an epic reunion?
"We been running, we haven't yet hit the studio, but we've done 12 shows together so far. We just never got the chance to hit the studio. We got the music lined up, so it's definite. We don't want to make a promise to people that won't happen, but I can guarantee you it's going to be some Wayne, Manny Fresh, and Juvie music coming."
Awesome! But what about Wayne's current situation with Thug - did the New Orleans native finally get a dose of his own medicine? Remember, Weezy released his third studio album 500 Degreez in 2002, which was "inspired" by Juvenile's hit 1998 record, 400 Degreez:
"I don't get involved with that. I have no opinion on none of that... People say [karma], but I don't fall in it, I'm too old for all of that. I don't like negativity or anything negative coming to Juve. That's why I end my show with 'do something positive with your life.' That's how I feel right now. I don't want to do things like that anymore. I'm not with that, beefing or battling with each other, because at the end of the day, we're all Black and trying to get money and them niggas need to cut the bullsh*t."
Should Weezy follow Juve's lead? The entire discussion's pretty interesting - check it out here.
