Earlier this month, YMCMB rapper Nicki Minaj insinuated that boyfriend Meek Mill already popped the big question after only a few months of dating. But is the "Anaconda" beauty just messing with fans?

According to Minaj's own mother Carol Maraj, yes!

Although the 32-year-old songstress could not attend, Maraj was honored at the "Dress for Success Worldwide" gala in Manhattan on Thursday evening (April 16). Of course, she was immediately questioned about her daughter's recent engagement buzz. According to bossip.com, Minaj will not be walking down the alter anytime soon:

"I talk to my daughter everyday, and she said she was not engaged," Maraj said.

Her rumored fiance even got into a heated online "beef" over such engagement ring hype with Floyd Mayweather's future wife, Bad Medina. But apparently, it's all untrue.
