Rihanna and Chris Brown's duet "Nobody's Business" (previously called "Nobodies Business) from her upcoming album "Unapologetic," was leaked online Thursday.
The highly anticipated track which features lyrics such as "It ain't nobody's business; just mine and my baby" and "You'll always be my boy, I'll always be your girl," feels like a Michael Jackson song with a catchy beat. However is not the song what is making headlines but the fact that Brown and Rihanna are getting back together.
The song is receiving negative criticism mostly targeted towards Rihanna, for giving the wrong message to other women.
"I understand that Rihanna has to follow her heart. You go girl and you do that. However you are also a role model to young girls, and I will NOT have my young daughter even consider the possibility of going back to an abusive man," online user SteveSinCal wrote on a Huffington Post message board today.
"This lady's probably going to go back to her attacker. How sick is that! He has wooed her and she's probably swooning for more. It certainly is nobody's business so tell her to stay out of the public eye so nobody has to see her battered to a pulp again!!" Huffington Post reader Javida wrote today on a message board.
Others however showed support for the singers.
"Like the song said it no body's business I guess ppl should take a hint and leave them alone what they do in their personal life has northing to do with nobody," online user Vernisha James wrote on an E!News message board.
Brown and Rihanna are rumored to be together again but the singers have not made public their relationship. Brown is still completing a 5-year probation for assaulting Rihanna in 2009 the night of the Grammy Awards.
This is not the first time that Rihanna has collaborated with Brown to do music and receive negative criticism. He also did a "Birthday Cake" remix with him earlier.
"The whole thing caught me a little off-guard to be honest ... especially the amount of ... negative attention. Because it never occurred to me how this was going to be a problem. It really didn't," she said about the "Birthday Cake" remix, according to Esquire U.K. "I thought people were gonna be surprised that we finally did a record together, but I didn't see how people could think it was a bad thing. In my mind, it was just music."
Rihanna's new album "Unapologetic" will be released on November 19. It is her seventh album and includes 14 tracks.
"Rihanna's most personal album to date, not to mention her most complex, both emotionally and sonically. Though for all the questions it raises, you don't have to look very far to figure out how Rihanna herself feels about all this: It's written right there on the cover," wrote MTV on its review of the album.
