Reports confirm that famous rocker and Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell has filed for divorce from his wife of 25 years Julie Campbell, citing "irreconcilable differences." Campbell recently filed divorce papers in L.A. County Superior Court - the "Bringin' on the Heartbreak" star also petitioned for joint legal and physical custody of his two teenage daughters. The 50-year-old rock 'n' roller also asked the judge to disallow spousal support for his longtime (soon to be ex) wife.
Irish musician Campbell joined the popular English New Wave metal/rock band Def Leppard in April 1992 following the death of original guitarist Steve Clark. Campbell wed Julie in February 1987 - the couple has two teenage daughters together, Lily Rose (13) and Una Marigold (11).
Campbell has one hefty rock 'n' roll resume, having once worked with Sweet Revenge, Dio, Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy, Shadow King, and River Dogs. The legendary guitarist recently hit the road with Def Leppard for a mini U.S. summer tour that went from June 20-September 15 (alongside other popular acts Poison and Lita Ford). Def Leppard will play a nine-show residency at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas starting March 22 and going until April 10, 2013. The band plans on playing the entire set list from the hit 1987 album "Hysteria" (which includes popular tracks such as "Pour some Sugar on Me," "Love Bites," and Armageddon It"). This will be the first time Def Leppard performs an album in its entirety live.
