There are only 4 episodes before the season finale of The Flash arrives on the CW network. As the truth behind Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) and The Reverse-Flash comes even closer, will Henry Allen (John Wesley Shipp) find help for his son, Barry (Grant Gustin) from the future Bart Allen, aka New Earth's Impulse?
In our previous recap, Barry was closer than ever to finding the man in the yellow suit, who's responsible for putting his father in prison. Knowing the Reverse-Flash murdered his wife, Henry though was worried for his son's safety. The scarlet speedster came to the rescue when Henry was taken hostage by The Trickster (Mark Hamill).
In our recent recap, Eddie (Rick Cosnett) was framed by the Everyman, who pretended to be him in a police shootout. While the Everyman confused the Flash and kept changing faces, Cisco, Joe (Jesse L. Martin), and Captain Lance (Paul Blackthorne) discovered the rotten corpse of the Harrison Wells. After capturing Everyman and clearing Eddie from charges, Barry and his friends discovered the secret lair and the Reverse-Flash suit.
In the DC Comics Universe, Barry is considered to be Bart's grandfather. Due to the timeline rift in Zero Hour, Bart arrived to save the day as the superhero known as Impulse. Bart then took up up the role of Kid Flash after joining the Teen Titans. Because he was raised in a virtual reality videogame, the super villains cannot deal with Bart's ADD.

According to IGN, Shipp answered fan's questions during a Q&A session at Missouri's Cape Comic Con. When a fan asked if Barry's grandson could pop up on the show, Shipp is quoted as saying, ""They're already talking about that. Think of the amount of story that we have burned through in eighteen episodes...They're talking about all that stuff."
