It's no secret that Kanye West likes to disrupt things and somehow make everything about him. But in this case, it looks like Kanye West's ego has done everyone some good, like helping repair the relationship of Kim Kardashian and her step father Bruce Jenner.
During his 20/20 interview with Diane Sawyer on Friday night, Jenner revealed that Kim Kardashian was skeptical about accepting his transition at first, but that it was Kanye "who turned her around on this."
Apparently Kanye led kim to a breakthrough by insisting that everyone has to be true to themselves. He compared what he went through with music executives trying to question his identity when he first entered the music industry to what Jenner's currently going through.
"Kanye felt like he stood out when his career was taking off––he was a rapper who also had strong interests in other fields, such as fashion. But he felt like the honchos ignored his true identity, and were constantly trying to mold him into someone they could market better," source said. "Kanye explained to Kim that standing up to those execs was the only thing that brought him true happiness."
During the interview Jenner said Kanye and Kim were talking about it when West said, "Look, I could be married to the most beautiful woman in the world, and I am. I could have the most beautiful daughter in the world. I have that. But I'm nothing if I can't be me. If I can't be true to myself, they don't mean anything."
That apparently was the turning point for Kim, who has since been Jenner's number one supporter.

"Kimberly has been by far the most accepting and the easiest to talk to about it," revealed Jenner during the much-buzzed about interview.
She even offered her stepfather fashion advice, saying "Girl, you gotta rock it, baby. You gotta look good. If you're doing this thing, I'm helping ya, you're representing the family, you gotta look really good."
