Apparently, things are not getting any better between rapper Lil Wayne and new Cash Money protege, Young Thug.
And now, the heated rivalry just got extremely violent (allegedly).
Despite his ongoing beef with hip-hop mogul Birdman, Weezy continues touring in promotion of his new highly-anticipated #FreeWeezy album. Wayne and his YMCMB posse performed at Atlanta's popular Compound Nightclub on Saturday evening (April 25). According to the infamous gossip webloid MediaTakeOut.com, the crowd got "turned up" and Weezy evenually settled-down in the venue's VIP section following the concert.
But that's when things turned sour...
Supposedly, members of Thug's own crew approached the "Lollipop" superstar while he was partying with friends. Wayne's security immediately blocked the guys from getting very close, but YT's "boys" still managed to threaten the 32-year-old emcee. An alleged MTO source reveals that Thugger sent his supporters "with sticks to settle any beef with Wayne."
Not cool, although Thug was not personally involved. The rumored snitch reveals:
"Thug is very peaceful, non-violent, and he respects Wayne. But the trap n*ggas around him are different. They feel that Wayne's a f*ck boy."
The situation did eventually simmer-down - until the New Orleans native left the club several hours later. The entire group departed in several tour buses and SUVs. As MTO shockingly reports:
"The bus was later shot at more than a dozen times, by unknown assassins. The shots occurred outside of the property of Compound Nightclub - so the club is 100% not at fault here."
Details surrounding this violent incident still remain unconfirmed. In fact, Weezy hasn't posted anything on Twitter since last week. Of course, another death hoax will now likely erupt on social media surrounding the "Truffle Butter" singer.
According to an official TMZ update, "It appears no one was injured, and it's still unclear if Wayne was on board the bus that was hit." Law enforcement sources report that the bus was driven to a nearby hotel before police were called. The attackers still remain unidentified.
So, what do MstarsNews readers think - is this feud going way too far?
