Robin Roberts Home: Good Morning America Co-Host Recovering And Fight Rare Blood Disorder From Home

Robin Roberts is on her way to recovery. On September 20,  Roberts underwent a bone marrow transplant and was admitted to the hospital last week after a latent virus had not  worked with the medication.

Earlier his year Roberts was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome, which is a rare blood disorder she said via Facebook, 'Our immune systems usually take care of a virus like this ... but mine is only 59 days old.'

The 51-year-old television anchor told is staying fighting the virus and has been granted to finally go home "I decided to look at my brief stay as a 'tune up' ... and then I would be back on the road to recovery. By the grace of God, I am! The virus is under control and my numbers are going back up."

The Good Morning America co-host talked about her rough moments saying, "'Physically I felt fine but being back in the hospital took an emotional toll on me." Roberts stayed strong and managed to fight and will share her story with the world.
