Are they leaving reality TV?
The famous pair have remained the TV series' favorite couple and now face major criticism after their blowout reunion fight and the producer's struggle with drugs and legal troubles for failing to pay child support.
In December, Stevie J headed to a 30-day inpatient rehab facility after he allegedly failed 10-drugs tests within a 6-month period.
According to NY Post, the VH1 reality star failed many drug tests for marijuana and cocaine after being tested for his child support case and prosecutors just want the reality star to get help for his addictions. Although the prosecutor are only asking for a 30-day treatment, Stevie's attorney, Michael Bellinger says it will prevent him from earning a steady income.
Unfortunately, Judge Andrew Peck sided with the prosecutors and the reality star will be getting the help he needs after the holiday.
June 9, the 42-year-old reality star was arrested for owing $1.1 million in child support in New York state failing to pay for a court-ordered child support for his son, 17, and daughter, 15.
According to Page Six, US Attorney Preet Bharara stated that failing his court ordered obligations; the VH1 reality star committed a federal crime.
"By choosing to use the money for himself, rather than to pay his child support obligations, Jordan not only violated court orders, but committed a federal crime for which he will now be held responsible," Bharara said.
