Jon Stewart had some things to say about CNN's coverage on the recent Baltimore riots as a result of the death of Freddie Gray. Or, perhaps it's best to say that he had some things to say as a result of CNN's lack of coverage. Protests are currently raging through the city, making it look all too much like a war zone, and Stewart's kin over at the Daily Show couldn't help but notice that CNN decided to cover the White House Correspondents Dinner much, much more than the Baltimore riots.

Stewart kicked off last night's episode talking about the White House Correspondents Dinner, which welcomed in guest speaker Cecily Strong (Saturday Night Live). Of course, Stewart noted that the best and brightest of Washington's politicos stayed home while the rest attended the Correspondents Dinner.

"Why are we watching this meaningless circle jerk?" Stewart asked in his report.

Of course, he did admit there was a "fine 40 minutes of entertainment" with President Barack Obama and Cecily Strong, but CNN appeared to focus more so on the dinner as opposed to the actual news that was occurring just a mere 50 or so miles away from the White House Correspondents Dinner.

Take a look at Stewart's slam on CNN below:

"Yes, CNN ... got shamed by Twitter, shamed about their editorial priorities by the same folks who spent a week violently clashing over the blue/black-white/gold question," Stewart said.

But the worst part of the lack-of-report was the fact that they were aware yet distant at the same time, according to the Daily Show host.

Luckily the Comedy Central show's Senior Civil Unrest Correspondent Jessica Williams was there... well, kind of. Okay, not really.
