Hilary Duff Joins Tinder Amid 'Lizzie McGuire' Star Mike Comrie Divorce

With Hilary Duff in the middle of a divorce with Mike Comrie, the pop star has been taking a different approach to love and dating as of late. According to Duff, she joined Tinder a few days ago and has already set up dates with two different guys. Duff told her Tinder story on the radio show Valentine in the Morning.

"I was sitting with my friends one night at the house and we were joking around. In my life, I have always had really serious boyfriends. I've always met people through work and I have never been on a blind date. What's the worst that could happen," she said.

Duff then said the process is "wildly addicting" and is going on her first date Tuesday night.

"I have my first date tonight and I'm really, really nervous," she continued. "I think some people know. You only have your first name. Some people don't know. I think some people act like they don't know but they do. And a lot of people are like, 'This is a joke, right?'"

On the date, Duff said she's bringing one friend and the date is bringing another. She says she isn't worried if the night out doesn't go well because she is already in the middle of other Tinder negotiations. "I'm talking to another guy and I think we're going to go go-kart racing."

When looking through Tinder she says the first thing she notices is looks. Then their profile has to be funny. A shirtless mirror selfie is an instant left swipe.

Duff says she's looking for someone who "looks like they like to do fun things and someone who can make you laugh in their profile. My profile says: Let's eat pizza. I've had a lot of convos because of that."
