Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth Back Together, Patrick Schwarzenegger 'First True Love' Cheating Scandal? Ex-Fiance Supports Heartbreak After Split, Flirty Date Night

Miley Cyrus recently broke-up with (ex) boyfriend, Patrick Schwarzenegger - but did the relationship ultimately fail because the "Wrecking Ball" songstress still holds strong feelings for former fiance, Liam Hemsworth?

An alleged source for the popular gossip webloid HollywoodLife.com reveals that 22-year-old Cyrus continued "flirting" with the "Hunger Games" heartthrob, while still dating Schwarzenegger!

"Miley had been talking and texting with Liam for months and months. It was a friendship that at times got a little flirty. She never told Patrick about it as she knew how jealous of Liam he was. He would have flipped out had he known Miley was talking to her ex."

Apparently, Cyrus and 21-year-old Schwarzenegger decided to mutally split after the aspiring model was recently caught cheating during a wild Spring Break getaway. But now, the Bangerz twerker might have a chance to rekindle a romance with 25-year-old Hemsworth... And maybe that's what she wanted all along!

The couple ended their engagement in September 2013, but Hemsworth will always remain Cyrus' "true love" -

"For Miley, there will never be another Liam as he was really her first serious love," another insider tells HollywoodLife. "Part of her, despite being with Patrick, always loved him. To be honest Miley loved Liam more than she ever loved Patrick. Liam still has part of her heart and always will. Liam was older and taught her things. She looked up to him. Patrick was a beer drinking college party boy. She liked him a lot but it wasn't the same." 

And maybe Hemsworth feels the same? 

The ex-lovers were spotted hanging-out in LA earlier this month. And on April 24, they enjoyed an "intimate" dinner together at Soho House in West Hollywood (via NY Daily News). An eyewitnees insists that "it looked like a date."

Well, Hemsworth hasn't indulged in another serious relationship since breaking up with Cyrus...

Rumored sources for the Daily News explain, "Liam's single and he's always loved Miley... He was texting her last week."
