On top of being one of the best players and goal-scorers in the Barclays Premier League, Chelsea FC star forward Didier Drogba has been named the most charitable player in the EPL. This week, Drogba was honored by the league with the Barclays Spirit of the Game award, given to him for his work with his Foundation in Africa. This is a pleasant honor for the player, whose team sits comfortably on top of the league's standings, perhaps taking home the trophy this weekend.

"I come from a poor family where I played football in the streets with my friends with no shoes, there was no grass but we still enjoyed it," Drogba said when accepting his award, according to PremierLeague.com. "There is nothing better than when you see a kid with a smile on his face and that is why I'm trying to help."
The 37-year-old superstar footballer donates all of his sponsorship and commercial earnings to the Foundation.
He added: "I want to do a lot of things in Africa, I want to give people the chance to dream, and it is easier to dream when you are in good health and happy."
