According to a concert promoter, Chris Brown decided to cancel his concert in Guyana after protests erupted over the singers 2009 beating of ex-girlfriend Rihanna. The "Unforgettable II" concert which was set for December 26 was pulled by his management team says Hits and Jams Entertainment Group.
Although, promoters say that women's rights groups and some lawmakers have been protesting the singer's show, Brown's team tells E! online, "This concert was never confirmed. The promoter is being untruthful."
Wednesday ,Hits and Jams announced that the celebrity canceled his show saying,"The management team in a correspondence to HJ Entertainment said they do not feel comfortable at this stage allowing the multi-award winning singer to come to Guyana as they have been following reports in the local and international press about the protests over his Guyana appearance."
Another instance, protesters in Stockholm, Sweden, posted Rihanna's battered face when the singer was set to perform there. In the picture Rihanna had two contusions and a busted lip which was leaked in 2009 after the couple had an argument in L.A. shortly after leaving a Grammy party. The two have seemed to make amends after being spotted together numerous times and most recently partied together Thursday in Germany.
