Halle Berry is taking no chances after her ex-boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry was arrested for fighting her fiance Olivier Martinez at her home on Thanksgiving day. According to TMZ Berry is not taking any chances with Aubrey's temper tantrum and has hired security guards to protect Nahla, Martinez and herself. In addition, Berry was also granted a protective order against her Aubry for her daughter, fiance and herself.
Police say, on Thursday, after Aubry dropped off his daughter at Berry's home, when Martinez walked up to him and said, "We have to move on." Shortly after witnesses say, Aubry pushed and threw a punch and the brawl began. During the fight Martinez may have injured his hand and neck while Aubry suffered a broken rib and has a contusion on his face.
Authorities say Oliver made a citizen's arrest on his property and Aubry was booked for a misdemeanor battery charge and was held on $20,000 bail. Recently, Berry was seen at the "Yo Gabba Gabba" show with her daughter enjoying each other's company shortly after she was seen with armed security guards. The major move that could hurt Aubry's custody rights is the fact that she got a judge grant an emergency protective order against the male model, who must remain 100 yards away. Also, his daughter who was present at the time had to be rushed inside the house by her mother during the scuffle.
The actress may use this against her ex-boyfriend to win full custody rights so she can be granted to move to France with Nahla and Martinez. No rep for both parties has yet to make a statement.
