"Love and Hip Hop: New York" reality star Mendeecees Harris release a brief statement regarding his legal troubles but urges fans to tune in for "Love & Hip Hop Live: The Wedding" special with fiancée, Yandy Smith.
In a video on VH1, the reality star told devoted fans of the show:
"I know y'all heard what's going on. It's an ongoing process and I'm not allowed to talk about it right now, but what I can talk about is our wedding. I'm marrying the love of my life and how excited I am to share with you. Make sure you tune in May 25th for the live special on VH1."
According to TMZ, Mendeecees plead guilty to running a drug ring in upstate New York and may face 5 to 40 years in prison and/or a fine of $5 million. The reality star will be sentenced in August for running a drug trafficking operation to Rochester for nearly 7 years.
