Spider-Man Reboot Director [RUMORS]: Jonathan Levine, Ted Melfi, Jason Moore

Turmoil is probably the best word to describe the current state of the Avengers following Age of Ultron. With the few extra spots open on the team it seems like the Marvel Cinematic Universe will soon be opening their hearts to the teenage sensation Spider-Man after Disney acquired the hero from Sony. With the impending arrival of Spidey a few filmakers are rumored to take the helm including Jonathan Levine, Ted Melfi, Jason Moore, John Frances, Jonathan M. Goldstein and Jared Hess. Levine was the writer for 50/50 and Warm Bodies; Melfi was the writer/director of the Golden Globe nominated film St. Vincent; Moore wrote Pitch Perfect; Daley and Goldstein are responsible for the updated version of Vacation; and Hess directed Napoleon Dynamite and Don Verdean.

Some of the rumors going around is that the Spider-Man story will be told throughout three or four movies with each movie following Peter Parker throughout one year of high school. The most important part in all of this is that we won't be seeing any origin. We've been promised Parker will come into the movie with the powers intact.

As for now, there is no set Spidey in the movie but we'll probably see a teenager hop into the fray pretty soon. Maybe even before the stand-alone movies find a director and writer.

Marvel announced one of the main characters in Captain America: Civil War will be the wall crawler himself. It'll be in this movie where we'll finally get a glimpse of what a stable Spider-Man will look like. Either that or they'll just reboot the series again in ten years. They've never been against that.

With all this news being thrown at us so quickly whom do you think will take the helm of Spider-Man? More importantly, are we finally looking at a stable Spider-Man series?
