You may know FC Barcelona footballer Luis Suarez for his amazing talent on the pitch, his team's recent UEFA Champions League semifinal victory over Bayern Munich, or possibly the fact that he bites a lot of players and receives bans and fines; but the latest news surrounding the Uruguayan star will make you tear up with joy. One of his biggest fans in Uruguay is a young boy named Mateo who happens to be fighting a battle with cancer. Suarez took some time out of his hectic schedule to video chat with Mateo, adding fuel to his brave battle with the disease. Watch this uplifting viral video below!

When Mateo's doctor sits him in front of a computer for a video chat with a cancer "consultant," the young Barcelona fan was pleasantly surprised by a familiar voice and smile when his favorite athlete showed up in front of him.
"Listen to me; did you know you're a champion?" the international superstar footballer who has had his fair share of championships told Mateo. "You are very brave, a fighter, so you must keep on going."
From there, Suarez makes a deal with his fan, telling him to listen to his doctor and to make sure he does what he's told in order to get better, and then he'll give him his Barcelona jersey - literally his jersey.
"[One] of the ones I play with, not those from the store," he tells Mateo, who is blown away at the prospect of getting an actual jersey from Luis Suarez.
"With that emotion you have now, that joy, this is how you have to be," Suarez reminds Mateo. "To listen to your doctors, do the treatments, take your medication and everything. Do you hear me?"
After some talk about recent goals he scored, Luis sends his best wishes to Mateo and ends the video call. Mateo is elated and visibly uplifted by the talk.
