Despite "corporate obligations," YMCMB rapper Drake continues hyping an epic rap battle against fellow emcee, Murda Mook. Will Drizzy's recent taunt spark yet another heated hip-hop feud?
The Toronto native appeared at New York City's "Night of Main Events 5" sponsored by the "Ultimate Rap League" Smack/URL on Sunday evening (May 10). Of course, the 28-year-old "Worst Behavior" superstar was questioned about his "rivalry" with the "Freaky" lyricist. Drake sort of throws some shade with this quick response:
"You gotta beat Surf first."
The "YOLO" hypeman is referring to aspiring emcee Tsu Surf from Trenton, New Jersey (via AllHipHop.com). Hey, good name-drop! Surf is an awesome freestyle artist known for participating in hard-hitting Smack showdowns:
Drizzy's recent public challenge towards Mook is now going viral online:

The Harlem rapper has yet to respond on Instagram.
Do MstarsNews readers think Drizzy's all talk, or will the two eventually meet face-to-face onstage?
Meanwhile, the "Take Care" crooner's rekindled relationship with Rihanna continues heating-up. After working together in the studio earlier this month, the former lovers were spotted partying at NYC's exclusive VIP Room on Saturday (May 8). Although things still remain platonic, they exchanged a brief hug on the dance floor which further fueled such revamped dating buzz:
Should they get back together for good, or does Chris Brown still stand a chance withi his ex "Put It up" muse? Maybe it's time for Mook to cash-in on Drizzy's "weaknesses of the heart" on a comeback diss track...
