Last year, Alabama fell short of qualifying for the SEC championship, but won the national championship instead, "It was a big deal for our team because that was one of the goals this year, and now we have a chance to go out the same way we came in, and as a senior unit and a leadership group, that's what we try to do," Tide's offensive lineman Michael Williams said. "That's what we strived to do this season."
