Talk about a Dancing With the Stars finale shocker! We most certainly didn't see this one coming during last night's broadcast when top four contestant and Iraq war veteran, Noah Galloway, popped the question to his longtime girlfriend, Jamie Boyd, during the live show. While the contestants have been narrowed down to the final four, Nastia Liukin, Rumer Willis, Riker Lynch, and Noah, the star said he knew he wanted to use the show as the place to propose to his gal.
Radar Online reported that the couple got engaged following Noah and his partner, Sharna Burgess's dance to David Cook's song, "Time of My Life," which was extremely appropriate for what was to come.
When Noah went backstage following the routine, he got down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend, saying, "the song, the 'Time of My Life,' you've given it to me... I've got to do this here," before showing Jamie the ring.
According to People, Galloway proposed with an 18-karat, princess-cut diamond ring that he purchased from Beverly Hills' XIV Karats. The DWTS contestant also spoke to the news site about his love for his now fiancée.
He couldn't help but gush about Jamie during the interview saying she "has been so supportive through my entire journey," adding that he knew he was going to propose during the series.
"I always thought if I made it to the finale I would propose, but I realized the competition is so stiff I couldn't let the opportunity pass me by in case this is the end of the road for me on the show," the star told the site.
