As MstarsNews previously reported, rumors are currently going viral online that Slim Shady recently formed a "secret" metal band deemed Detroit Riot. The all-star group's now working on a new album, where Em doesn't contribute any vocals.

"Over the past few years, Eminem has been really focused on becoming a great bass player. With many of his songs having heavy bass, he was naturally drawn to the sound," an alleged snitch explains. "When he isn't working on Eminem projects, he spends hours practicing scales and taking pointers from his friends in the industry... He enjoys expressing himself through sound from time to time instead of having to come up with lyrics. In some ways it has become therapeutic for him."

Of course, the 42-year-old "Rap God" continues ignoring such "rocker" buzz on Instagram. But would readers be so apposed to the idea?

Meanwhile, several Twitter fans would rather see another new collaboration between Shady and "Love The Way You Lie" crooner, Rihanna. Now THAT sounds more believable!
