Supermodel Heidi Klum was forced to delay her annual extravagant haunted Halloween party until early December due to the devastations wrought by Hurricane Sandy back in October. But that doesn't mean the "Project Runway" host's Halloween-themed bash would be any less spooktacular! The 39-year-old beauty hosted the belated holiday event in NYC on Saturday (Dec. 1) decked out as the stunning Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh Cleopatra. Not only did Klum provide a proper Halloween celebration a month after the actual holiday, but she plans on donating all proceeds gathered from the event to Hurricane Sandy relief efforts. What an awesome way to celebrate a "haunted Christmas," indeed!
Klum is known for her over-the-top, extravagant Halloween costumes, and her glamorous Cleopatra getup most definitely didn't fail to impress! Prior to her appearance at Club Finale in NYC on Saturday evening, Klum tweeted this pic of her transformation into the gold and sparkly Cleopatra:
@heidiklum: "Getting ready with Bill Corso for my Haunted Holiday Party!"
She then clued-in fans just how extravagant and intricate her full ensemble would be:
@heidiklum: "My face..."
And then the finale results - Klum's beautiful face covered in magnificent jewels and rhinestones!
@heidiklum: "I'm on my way!!!"
Klum made her grand entrance to the luxurious Halloween bash escorted by none other than Santa Claus himself! Her rhinestone-studded, gold floor-length dress and headpiece really managed to turn heads - but it was her jewel-encrusted face that really made the costume come full circle!
Not only is it great that Klum managed to host her annual Halloween bash a month after the originally-schedule Oct. 31 party date, but the fact that all proceeds from the Svedka-sponsored event will go towards aiding the Red Cross and Hurricane Sandy relief effort makes the belated holiday extravaganza that much more fantastic. So what do Mstarz fans think about Klum's awesome Cleopatra costume?
