A "cinematic MRI" twins were captured in their mother's womb fighting for some space. Feeling a bit uncomfortable, the twins started kicking each other for some extra leg room while being studied for a serious medical study.

Dr. Marisa Taylor-Clarke of Imperial College's Robert Steiner MR Unit in London used a high-tech monitor to study when twins vie over space in the utero and what the consequences could be. The diagnoses is to study how fetuses are affected by a condition which an identical twin siphons blood away from its sibling, which is called twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS).

In an interview with Reuters,"A lot of the so-called videos in the womb are very processed, so they do a lot of reconstructing and computer work afterwards," Taylor-Clarke added, "These are raw images that are acquired immediately."

TTTS may deprive the one twin of nutrients and pu pressure on their heart, which may occur anytime of the pregnancy. Doctors hope that the new high-tech monitor will reveal its impact so that it may be changed.
