The Arrow Season 3 finale aired last week, and the speculation for Season 4 is already running wild. Star Stephen Amell's comments about Coast City in a recent interview should only fuel that fire.
Fans have already been theorizing that the Green Lantern would appear somehow on either Arrow, The Flash, or the spinoff DC's Legends of Tomorrow. The evidence is mounting, as Oliver and Felicity drove off down the coast line in a strong hint that they were headed for Coast City, the hometown of the superhero. Second, we saw in the flashbacks that Oliver sees a boat headed for Coast City, and it's implied that he gets on that boat. Third, Barry Allen mentioned on the penultimate episode of The Flash that a test pilot from Ferris Air went missing. This seems to be a reference to Hal Jordan, one of the Green Lanterns.

In other news, the Season 3 finale of Arrow featured some shocking moments, but one of the quieter ones was a conversation between Oliver and Diggle in which the former implored the latter to keep fighting crime, but to wear a mask while doing so.
Diggle's lack of facial covering has been a sore spot for many fans, who find it absurd that the former soldier just runs around shooting people without hiding his identity. But could that change in Season 4? Actor David Ramsey addressed that possibility.
"I do think you need some kind of concealment," he told ComicBook.com. "And to that end, they are working on something. You will see something for Diggle next year, season 4. You will."
Does this mean that Diggle will actually become Green Lantern? Recall what Ramsey said earlier this year when people brought up the idea of Diggle as the Green Lantern named John Stewart:
"Everyone wants to talk about John Stewart. Is it 'John Stewart Diggle' or 'John Diggle Stewart' or whatever, and will he be Green Lantern? Marc Guggenheim has said publicly that it’s not the way to go right now. But people are still talking about it... I think they’ve taken great strides to making John Diggle part of the lexicon, and that’s an important thing. I don’t think you want to abandon that... I think there’s something very normal about him that’s part of the appeal. I think if you put a mask on him as part of the Green Lantern Corps, and that’s wonderful by the way – John Stewart is a wonderful character – but you lose some of that. You lose part of the 'everyguy' character."
