After a wild week, Katt Williams say he is retiring from stand up comedy. Earlier this week, Katt Williams was on camera for slapping a target employee and was later arrested by Seattle police after he argued with another patron at a bar, attacked the manager with a pool cue, refusing to leave the World Sports Grille.
According to Seattlepi.com said, "I'm just gonna go ahead and announce my retirement from stand-up, I'm kinda done," Williams said. "I've discussed it with my kids, I wasn't gonna do in the middle of a Seattle street, I was going to go to Los Angeles and do it in the offices of ICM or LiveNation."
The "Friday After Next" announced that his stand-up tour was cancelled. The troubled star was also ordered to leave his Courtyard Marriott hotel room after a unknown incident. In an interview with KOMO TV his hands appeared bloody and bruised up and the comedian claimed that he had been kicked out of four Seattle hotels so far.
The comedian says he will sue the city of Seattle for destroying his image, "I can stay (on the ferry), and my family can be there, and my dogs can be there, and my whole staff can be there, until we get done suing Seattle for this $50 million that I want for crippling my reputation as a father, and a black man, and as a taxpaying citizen, and as a person who is not a convicted felon," Williams said.
