The release of Lil Wayne's highly-anticipated new album The Carter V still remains a total mystery. Perhaps Weezy's ongoing beef with Cash Money Records mogul Birdman is hurting his own rap career and success? So now, the YMCMB superstar's ready to embark on another adventure to help earn major bills...
According to the popular gossip webloid TMZ, Wayne and fellow rapper Wiz Khalifa will now offer their services as celebrity DJs. But the "Lollipop" crooner definitely isn't going broke - yet. Apparently, he'll only spin some tunes for at LEAST a whopping $60,000. Meanwhile, Khalifa's a little more afordable - only $25,000 per gig.
But that's not all - the duo also "demand" exclusive perks including "first class air travel and VIP treatment."
And their big-name hip-hop status definitely helps - both emcees are already booking several events. From now on, Amber Rose's ex will be referred to as "DJ Daddy Cat" while working the clubs.
Wayne and Khalifa will premiere their first "collaboration" at Orange County hotspot Heat Ultra Lounge.
First skateboarding, and now this? Do MstarsNews readers approve of Weezy's hobbies-turned-career endeavors, or should he remain focused on his OWN music (despite Birdman's disapproval)? Maybe these little side jobs aren't such a big deal...
But what ever happened to #FWA!?
Thankfully, Wayne did NOT fall victim to yet another celebrity death hoax. But several tweeters do believe that something's wrong...
@BIGNOAH256 : "We never getting another Lil Wayne anything it feels like. #FWA supposed to been in my inbox."
@MasutaPara: "Lil Wayne playing around too much man. We need the FWA."
@BTetelo: "I swear my mood can change in like 0.3 seconds that's why I need LIL WAYNE'S MUSIC #FWA."
@LilWayneParodii: "What's Hip-Hop without Lil Wayne? #FWA."
@laakylee: "I hope lil wayne drop the #fwa already lawd :(."
Meanwhile, the 32-year-old New Orleans native continues "feuding" with Cash Money protege, Young Thug. So when will the drama end - when Weezy finally leaves the game for good?
