Jimmy Fallon and The Roots are in a jolly mood. The host and his band performed "All I Want For Christmas" on his show "Late Night" with Christmas fiend and Diva, Mariah Carey.
The crew are known for jamming with celebrities and politicians. President Barack Obama joined the band in a segment to "Slow Jam the News." The hysterical skit was performed in front of a crowd full of University of North Carolina college students. As soon as the president walked on stage the crowd roared, "I'm President Barack Obama, and I, too, would like to Slow Jam the News," said Obama. "What we said is simple: Now is not the time to make school more expensive for our young people."
In another bit, Call Me Maybe singer, Carly Rae Jepsen joined the "Late Night" crew with classroom instruments and did a rendition of her song. As the Fallon tradition continues, Mariah Carey was next on the list as she sung live to the sound of children's instruments and a young choir of four little girls that sung the background on Que before ducking their heads to hide form the camera. The video of the band jamming to the Christmas jingle has gone viral and is definitely lifting many spirits.
