Ki Suk Han was pushed on the tacks of an oncoming subway at Times Square in new York City. After the unknown man created a scene, Han approached him and a law-enforcement source say, "He went up and tried to calm him down, saying, 'You're scaring people,' the source added, "The emotionally disturbed guy just started screaming and cursing, saying, 'You don't know me! You don't know who I am!'"
Ki Suk Han, 58, was caught on photographer R. Although the train slowed down Han was caught between the train and platform causing serious injuries.
Dr. Laura Kaplan, a second-year resident at Beth Israel Medical Center was on the scene when the tragedy happened and tired to resuscitate the victim by administering CPR, "It was terrifying, but you run on adrenaline," Kaplan told The Post. "There was no pulse, never, no reflexes." The Doctor added,"I heard what I thought were heart sounds. We started compressions, which is half of CPR. We were unable to perform rescue breathing [the other half of CPR] because there was blood coming out of his mouth. He wasn't in the right position [for full CPR] and there was just no way to get him out of there."
Han's wife said the two had a huge argument before he left his home around 11 a.m. and said that he had been drinking. Later police found a bottle of vodka on Han afterwards. Police say the killer's description was said to be black, between 30 to 40 years old, about 5-foot-9, with short dreadlocks.
