Taylor Swift and LL Cool J announced the nominees for the 2013 Grammy awards. The Grammys Nominations Concert Live from Nashville which airs on CBS gave a lot of new names for major categories.
One big winner holding 6 nominations is Grammy freshman Frank Ocean. The front-runner for album of the year comes after the singer outed himself in an open letter telling the world that he was bi-sexual. His album, "Channel Orange" sold 390,000 units in 21 weeks and is now number 127 on the charts.
Another new face to hit the scene was R&B artist Miguel who got five nods and is a solo favorite to win. His writing capabilities proved worthy as his hit song "Adorn" climbs the charts. His sophomore album sold only 211,000 albums and may win in his R&B categories. Other artists like, rapper Nas, Rihanna, Taylor Swift and Jay-Z are nominated for a few awards and may grace the stage for the prestigious award.
