A&E has announced new casting additions for Season 4 of Unforgettable for Season 4. In the upcoming new season, actor Skeet Ulrich (Jericho) and Rachel Dratch (Saturday Night Live) join the crime-solving team with Poppy Montgomery (Carrie Wells) and Dylan Walsh (Al Burns).
Unforgettable centers on a mismatched pair of detectives. Montgomery plays Carrie Wells, a female detective who has an extremely rare photographic memory that allows her to recall detailed events by date. Joining her on the homicide cases is her partner, who also happens to be Carrie's ex-boyfriend, NYPD's Al Burns (Walsh).
As we previously mentioned, the crime/procedural drama found new life at A&E. The former CBS series was cancelled and then un-cancelled by the same network. In this particular situation, when the options on the cast expired, new deals had to be made for the cast and crew on the show.
According to TV Guide, the Scream actor will play a twist on Carrie's husband. During the third season finale, a man named Eddie Martin (Michael Dempsey) showed up claiming to be Carrie's husband. The revived series will explore the character of Eddie in Season 4, now with Ulrich in the role.
Entertainment Weekly also reports the 30 Rock comedian will guest star as Rosie Webb, a former executive assistant to Barry Madden, an investor accused of swindling his clients. As a key witness in Madden's trial, Webb has experienced enough death threats that she needs protective custody. Afraid to fly, Webb will be escorted by Carrie and Al on a long road trip to Florida.
The casting news comes after Jane Curtin (3rd Rock from the Sun) and Tawny Cypress (Heroes) have exited the show as series regulars. Dallas Roberts (The Walking Dead) is expected to reappear in at least two episodes.
Season 4 of Unforgettable is currently in production.
Readers, are you excited to see Unforgettable back on A&E.
