Taylor Swift showed off some serious skin in her music video for new single "Bad Blood," which premiered during the Billboard Music Awards last Sunday and for good reason. Apparently, the wardrobe for the A-list video came from a sex shop in Los Angeles. Stars including Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Lily Aldridge, and Hayley Williams were dressed in latex costumes, a big departure from the sparkly dresses that fans have grown accustom to Swift wearing during her performances, but new details are emerging about the clothing options, or should we say lack of clothing, in the video.
Fox News is reporting that when it came to dressing the girls for the video, Swift went to a Los Angeles sex shop called Stockroom. In fact, the nude outfit that the 1989 singer wears at the beginning of the video retails for $235 and comes in more than 30 colors.
Can we get one of each? Thanks.
According to Billboard, most of the $13,000 worth of inventory was returned to the sex shop, but that the crew opted to pay for and keep some of the other items.
In addition to that, the sex shop seems to be profiting from the video exposure, as they have been reportedly getting a lot of calls after going public with the news that they supplied the A-listers with their costumes. The director of operations at the Stockroom told the site that a lot of men have been calling to get outfitted with some latex.
Fox is reporting that the Stockroom has also seen an increase in their online traffic after the video debuted.
As of today, the music video has been watched over 44 million times since its debut on Sunday.
