Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas Party Following 'X-Factor' Elimination Show: Songstress Says Goodbye to CeCe Frey, has Dinner with JoBro

Following Thursday evening's "X-Factor" elimination show (Dec. 6) - where judge Demi Lovato ended up having to say goodbye to her personal favorite contestant CeCe Frey - the songstress was spotted going out to dinner and hitting up an after-party with the youngest JoBro, Nick Jonas. According to a number of eyewitnesses, the duo was spotted sharing an intimate dinner together following the live results show. Apparently 20-year-old Jonas showed up on the Hollywood set, and he was seen flirtatiously chatting with the "Give Your Heart a Break" songstress by the side of the stage. The two former Disney stars have been close pals for years - but are things finally getting more serious between them?

Jonas had this to say about his friendship with Lovato during a recent taping of "X-Factor" back in October - "There are so many things that have happened over time with Demi and I. I think we have a really strong bond and a really good relationship; we've seen a lot of life together at this point."

The pop star continued with:

"The one thing I definitely remember about Demi is with us being on stage together, we could look at each other from across the stage and know exactly what the other person was thinking. Whether it was a wrong note that was played or someone in the audience that was making us laugh, there was always sort of that bond that goes beyond words... It's great to see that 7 years into our relationship and friendship that we still have that. Even today, we were looking at each other across the room as the contestant was singing and we knew exactly what each other was thinking."

Is that natural connection now turning into a budding romance? Not only did the two chat over a one-on-one dinner, but they were spotted leaving the restaurant together to attend an "X-Factor" after-party. Maybe Lovato has a thing for guys in pop boy bands - previous rumors had it that the songstress was getting cozy with One Direction heartthrob Niall Horan.

So what do Mstarz fans think - would the former "Camp Rock" costars and fellow concert tour buddies make a good couple?

FYI: Lovato's ex Wilmer Valderrama was also recently spotted visting the "X-Factor" set, so Jonas better step up his game if feelings truly do begin to grow!
