Chinx Drugz Funeral Drama: French Montana & Widow Janelli Caceres Reply to GoFundMe Backlash

It seems that drama always manages to find its way to family, friends, and anyone else when it comes to a death of a loved one. MStars News has learned that Chinx Drugz (aka Lionel Pickens) death and funeral had its own drama as fans started to wonder why his management team and family had a GoFundMe page set up for the rapper's expenses and why French Montana seemed to not be a part of the account.

According to IBTimes, fans claimed that Montana ignored his slain friend as Chinx's family gathered up funds to pay for his funeral. Montana, the founder of Coke Boys Records, found himself in a bind when fans felt it was wrong to have a fund page set up the way it was.

Montana, whose real name is Karim Kharbouch, slammed the negativity, writing in the photo below, "I hate having to address the negativity during this time of grief. It is irrelevant." He added, "I pray that everyone would consider that real people lost a real man, friend, brother, father before spreading hateful speech. His funeral is taken care of. My brother is in good hands. If you don't have nothing positive to say keep it to your self [sic.]"

Chinx's widow, Janelli Caceres, also spoke out about the memorial page and revealed that the money raised by supporters would go to the rapper's three kids. MStars News previously reported that the couple have two daughters, ages 14 and 11, and a 4-year-old son who is pictured with Montana in the first photo.

Caceres wrote via Facebook: "Facts funeral paid for in full!!! Nobody is begging for the money. My husband management team felt it is the right thing to do to request instead of ppl wasting their money on flowers because he's bein cremated they can donate that money n of course it goes straight to the kids!! We get tons of calls all day with ppl asking where can they make a donation to the family so the gofundme was the best way to do it. We're straight and we ain't begging for anything!! It's sad that at a time like this all ppl care about is how much money he has and who he was sleeping with!! My husband killer is still on the loose.. I will not let my husband murder be brushed under the rug as another black man dead!!! This is the only thing everybody should be puttin so much focus into. If your willing to send out ya love we appreciate it but if all u have is hate plz keep it to yourself and keep it moving!!!" It appears that Chinx hasn't been cremated just yet. Other drama included Chinx's alleged girlfriend, Malika Haqq, and his widow. Erica Mena slammed Haqq for the rumored relationship that she had with the rapper.
